"How can you know, what you don't know"?

I told the GPI Service Agent that I thought I wanted to get an Automatic Shut-off nozzle for the fill station on my RV Toy Hauler. After the nozzle was installed, it would not operate correctly so I called GPI back. The next GPI Service Agent that I spoke with, advised me that most RV fill stations did not have a pump that would produce enough GPM (gallons per minute) to make the "Auto Nozzle" function properly. Since the nozzle I received was now "used" it could not be returned for credit. I did receive a new manual nozzle from GPI at no cost, which I certainly appreciated. Unfortunately, I paid the higher price (twice the cost of the manual nozzle) for the "Auto Nozzle" initially, which is a bit of a bummer. I wish the first GPI Service Agent had been more knowledgeable and had engaged me with some conversation about this potential restriction of "most" RV Fill Station pumps. Since this is the first RV, with a fill station that I have owned, I was not aware that "I didn't know, what I didn't know" about the limitations/requirements of the Automatic Nozzles. I am still happy with the functionality of the manual nozzle that I received from GPI at no cost. I now have an Automatic Nozzle that I have no application for. It is hanging on my shop wall as a reminder of the cost of my "nozzle education".

Hi Tom,

We appreciate your feedback- we will add a statement on the nozzle page with the minimum pressure required for the use of automatic nozzles. We apologize about your experience and the inconvenience. We have refunded your order the difference of the two nozzles.
Feel free to reach out with any other questions or comments. Thank you!

These GPI Automatic Nozzles are Great

I've got 3 of these nozzles on M-150S 15 GPM pumps and they all work great. Only Complaint is that you can't buy replacement plastic covers as they tend to become brittle and/or sticky due to the sun.

Hi Michael - Thank you for your great review!

Doesn’t work

Bought this automatic nozzle to make fueling construction machines easier out of my service truck, the nozzle turns off between five and 10 seconds into fueling, no matter which way you hold, turn or adjust it…….. now I’m screwed out of $120

Automatic shut off trips too easily

Bought 2 of these nozzles. They work if you hold the handle half way open or less. Whenever I try locking them open, the shutoff kicks out within 10-15 seconds.

Hello. Could you contact our Product Support Team at 800-835-0113? They can help you determine what is causing this issue, and identify if this is the correct nozzle for your application and equipment setup.
