I told the GPI Service Agent that I thought I wanted to get an Automatic Shut-off nozzle for the fill station on my RV Toy Hauler. After the nozzle was installed, it would not operate correctly so I called GPI back. The next GPI Service Agent that I spoke with, advised me that most RV fill stations did not have a pump that would produce enough GPM (gallons per minute) to make the "Auto Nozzle" function properly. Since the nozzle I received was now "used" it could not be returned for credit. I did receive a new manual nozzle from GPI at no cost, which I certainly appreciated. Unfortunately, I paid the higher price (twice the cost of the manual nozzle) for the "Auto Nozzle" initially, which is a bit of a bummer. I wish the first GPI Service Agent had been more knowledgeable and had engaged me with some conversation about this potential restriction of "most" RV Fill Station pumps. Since this is the first RV, with a fill station that I have owned, I was not aware that "I didn't know, what I didn't know" about the limitations/requirements of the Automatic Nozzles. I am still happy with the functionality of the manual nozzle that I received from GPI at no cost. I now have an Automatic Nozzle that I have no application for. It is hanging on my shop wall as a reminder of the cost of my "nozzle education".
