Leaking valve

My hand pump started pouring gas out of the anti siphon valve. I contacted a service rep at gpi and after telling him what was going on he recommended a new asv and that done the trick thanks!!

Easy to remove and install, also easy to damage

The valve on my pump was sporadically leaking so I purchased a new one. Removing the old one was simple, but I used spread needle-nose pliers as there's really no other way to remove this. There are two grooves on either side that fit pliers so that's what I used. It worked fine. The cap for the valve that was on my pump was easy to remove via flat head screwdriver, but the cap was also installed on my new valve prior to install and was difficult to remove in comparison. Also, I broke a small piece off the valve with the amount of force required to pry the new cap off the new valve. Little confusing to me why this is the case but it is what it is. Removal of the old valve and installation of the new one is very easy and there is even a small document to tell you the steps, which is included with the new valve.
